In corporate governance, and especially with Boards of Directors, the soft skills that characterize leadership are equally indispensable.

A Board of Directors must work as a team, in a situation made even more complex by the simultaneous presence of several leaders: not just a President and a CEO, but good BoD will also include leading figures in their respective professions.

It is clear that it is even more necessary to maximize listening and communication skills and the resulting teamwork capacit.

The latest developments in corporate governance envisage BoDs carrying out self-assessment activities on an annual basis, aimed precisely at verifying the perception that individual members (often extending to top management) have of the functioning of the BoD.

On the other hand, the actual improvement actions that follow this diagnostic activity are still relatively unconsolidated.

Out of the box

Out of the Box is a one-year course designed for companies aiming at improving relationships among employees by introducing a ‘feedback culture’ for improved communication within working teams, and new techniques that reinforce trust, listening abilities and conflict management.

Through this process, interaction abilities are developed and teams are formed that are able to interact at any organisational level, enabling easier and quicker decisions and operational processes throughout the system.

During the process, each participant will have the opportunity to acquire awareness of their own way of acting in a professional environment, through a tool that measures the attitudes and motivations that guide the skills and behaviours in a person’s profession.

Clients then engage with professional coaches to find support in the implementation of the tools considered indispensable by the coaches themselves or the company to meet their ever-challenging goals.

Train to interact with corporate colleagues and explore the themes of feedback, trust, listening and conflict management.

At the end of the process, achievements will be measured with a 360 review for each participant in the program.
